Graduation Party Florals
Last weekend, we had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter's graduation and also her eighteenth birthday. We hosted the party at our home, so I wanted to make our front entry festive and inviting. I've been wanting to make a greenery arch around our door for a while now and this gave me the perfect time to go for it.
The Entryway
I used smilax, and wild grapevine as the base for the doorway greenery. I attached Command Strips to the wall, then hung a chicken wire form to them. The smilax and grapevines were attached to the chicken wire with zip ties for more stability and then I was able to tuck in the other greenery stems, baby's breath, and flowers into the chicken wire form.
I flanked both sides of the doors with floral arrangements , and added lots of greenery with different types of ferns.
It was the perfect backdrop for photos!
The Gathering Space
Our carport on the back side of our home was made into a dining space. We rented tables and chairs and I decorated the area. (Scroll below for sources)
Congratulations to our oldest daughter, Katlyn! We are so proud of the young woman she is becoming and it is a privilege to be her mom!
